about us

Founded by Will Thomason and James Thomason, FTBL+ focusses on developing players technically, physically and mentally. Providing insight into what it takes to progress to the highest levels of the game.

Will and James grew up learning and playing football predominantly in the academy environment at clubs including Melbourne Victory FC, Western United FC, Melbourne Knights FC and Oakleigh Cannons FC.

Still early in their professional playing careers, their achievements include a Dockerty Cup, a Community Shield, NPL Semi-Finals, Most Valuable Player in ACC Competition and a current active international player competing in the final rounds of 2027 Asian Cup qualifiers.

After more than 20 years combined experience of being brought up and succeeding in elite level football environments, Will and James have created an academy to bring their skills and knowledge to others
